Catharsis

1. purification or purgation of the emotions primarily through art.
   
2. a purification or purgation that brings about spiritual renewal or release from tension.
   
3. elimination of a complex by bringing it to consciousness and affording it expression.

This collection consists of mostly emotional process paintings. I will frequently process issues or events with paint, and many of these were labored over late at night or on private retreats.
